What is the deadline for me to submit an idea?
You can submit your idea and obtain votes until November 27th, 2009.
From November 27th onwards, we will begin gathering the 20 ideas with the most positive votes, which will be announced on December 7th.
Where must I submit my idea?
You must submit your ideas using the 3 buttons that will be specifically intended for that purpose.
Your idea will participate only if you use one of these 3 buttons.
The buttons are:
The button labelled “do you have a business idea? Post it” that you will find in these 2 pages:
http://en.ideas4all.com/web/bigbang_bases
http://en.ideas4all.com/searches/contest_search/1-bigbangchallenge
The button labelled "Click here to "lay" your idea" found on this page:
http://en.ideas4all.com/static/en/bigbangchallenge2009.html
How many ideas can I participate with?
You can participate with as many ideas as you like.
But remember that the ideas we are looking for must be innovative business ideas and should be realizable, that is, they must be projects presenting a plan for their possible implementation.
Also, the idea must be implemented by the person submitting it, meaning that ideas that necessarily require a company or institution other than the winner of the challenge to be developed will be excluded.
How can I find out how my position is ranked?
It's very simple, just click here to view all participating ideas here or click on one of these 2 buttons:
on the Big Bang Challenge's homepage http://www.ideas4all.com/static/bigbangchallenge2009.html or at the top of this page http://en.ideas4all.com/web/bigbang_bases
In the ranking list, you will see how your idea is ranked, taking into account only positive votes. We remind you that negative votes will not be counted.
Will negative votes affect my idea?
No. Only positive votes obtained by each idea will be taken into account.
Therefore, it will be useless to give negative votes to other participating ideas in order to keep them from being selected.
Why can't I find my idea among participating ideas?
You may not have used one of the 3 buttons intended for that purpose.
We remind you where they are:
The button labelled “do you have a business idea? Post it” which you will find in these 2 pages:
http://en.ideas4all.com/web/bigbang_bases
http://en.ideas4all.com/searches/contest_search/1-bigbangchallenge
The button labelled "Click here to "lay" your idea" found on this page:
http://en.ideas4all.com/static/en/bigbangchallenge2009.html
If this is the case, you must delete your idea and submit it again using one of these 3 buttons.
How can I promote my idea in other websites to obtain more votes?
The best way to obtain more positive votes is to promote and call attention to your idea in the different social networks where you are registered.
We are referring to social networks such as Facebook or Twitter, but you can also promote your idea in innovation Forums, or in any other websites you take part in. Here is a video explaining how you can do this:
Another good way of obtaining positive votes is inviting friends to take part, make them register and vote for your idea.
What happens if my idea is not selected amongst the 20 best?
Your idea will still be one of the Community ideas at ideas4all, but you never know what can happen to a good idea. If your idea keeps on collecting positive votes, perhaps it can find another way to become reality.
In any case, remember you will have shared a good idea that otherwise might simply have been lost. For this we thank you and appreciate your taking part.
And if my idea is selected amongst the 20 best, what must I do?
If your idea is one of the 20 selected ideas, you will find out on December 7th.
It will be announced in the website and ideas4all will contact you to let you know and congratulate you personally.
From that moment on, you will have from December 7th to December 31st to prepare and send us a simple Mini Business Plan which will be absolutely confidential. This will serve as a basis for ideas4all and the jury to select a winner.
You can find out more regarding the Mini Business Plan here:
http://www.ideas4all.com/web/miniplandenegocio
Who chooses the winning idea?
From the 20 selected ideas, the ideas4all team will make a pre-selection of 10 ideas with their respective Mini Business Plans. These will be sent to an international jury selected specifically for this great occasion, that will be responsible for selecting the winning idea. The winner will be awarded 25,000$ to put the idea into practice.
You can see who the members of the jury are here:
The winner will be announced on January 27th in ideas4all's website.
Even if my idea takes part, can I vote for other ideas that are also participating?
Of course. You may and should value other ideas that are taking part in the Big Bang Challenge.
Your vote can make good ideas and ideas that really deserve it be selected, and one of them may be a winner.
With your vote you can make a good idea become reality.
Will ideas4all be entitled to a percentage of my project?
No.
ideas4all has organized this challenge so that your idea can become reality. But we will not keep any percentage or rights over you idea.
It will be you and your project.
And if I win, how and when will I receive the prize?
As of January 27th 2010, the date the winner will be announced, the winner of the challenge will have to sign an agreement with ideas4all giving him or her access to the prize, and establishing that the amount awarded, 25,000$, will be delivered against receipts generated by the winner as he or she gets the project started. These receipts will necessarily have to correspond to expenses that show the idea is being implemented.
